Responsibilities

• This is a great opportunity to join a company that is growing and managing multiple Data Centres across the Middle East (UAE & Oman). The Data Centre Technician will join the team to assist with the day-to-day operations.
• Additionally, this role will be responsible for cable management, racking & stacking, basic device troubleshooting, power & cooling systems and managing humidity systems. As this company grows, this role will offer progression within the team and exposure to new and exciting projects.

Requirements of Data Centre Technician 

• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field.
• Minimum: 1+ years of experience working in data centre environment.
• Understanding of the data centre infrastructure.
• Experience with cabling, racking, troubleshooting and stacking.
• Preffered:Previous experience with cooling and power systems in data centres.

Skills and Abilities Desired

• Technician who can work independently or within a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must.
• The candidate must possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
