Job Description

Aldar Education is actively hiring for the job role of Data Analytics Director Accreditation & Support Systems. The Director Data Analytics, Accreditation & Support Systems is responsible for effectively gathering, rationalising, and visualizing data to support the company’s objectives and provide a data driven platform for decision making. The purpose of the Director of Data Analytics, Accreditation, and Supporting Data Systems is to lead the implementation of all data related initiatives within the organization.

This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining best practices for data management, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and driving the use of data analytics to support business decision making. The director will also support any accreditation processes for schools, ensuring they can submit robust and effective applications for both new accreditations and renewals. The role will also be responsible for data systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, they will be responsible for fostering a data driven culture and serving as a key liaison between technical and non technical stakeholders. Ultimately, the goal is to leverage data to drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage across the organization.

Responsibilities of Data Analytics Director

  • Develop data strategies for all departments and the organisation supporting critical decisions, foster growth, and reduce costs.
  • Ensure data is accessible, understandable, and relevant for all stakeholders.
  • Support the academic accreditation process for schools, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared, and guidelines are followed to achieve and maintain accreditations.
  • Review, evaluate, and document curriculum and program standards to ensure integration with accreditation requirements, including tracking, assessment, and monitoring toward KPIs and strategic plan.
  • Ensure that all schools meet and maintain accreditation standards.
  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for data analytics, accreditation, and data support systems that align with the organization’s overall objectives.
  • Oversee a team of data analysts, accreditation specialists, and support system professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Data Analytics: Drive the use of data analytics to provide insights and support decision making across various business functions, using tools and techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities within the data.
  • Accreditation Management: Lead the accreditation process for data systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Support the work of schools in achieving and maintaining academic accreditation. Act as the key liaison with accreditation agencies/bodies.
  • System Support: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and support of data systems, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and performance meet the organization’s needs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand their data needs and provide support and guidance on leveraging data for their specific objectives.
  • Communication and Reporting: Communicate data insights and key performance indicators to executive leadership. Other stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations and strategic insights.

  • Innovation and Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics, accreditation, and data system.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the budgeting and resource allocation for data analytics, accreditation, and support system initiatives. Ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to data initiatives, ensuring successful adoption and integration of new technologies and processes.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish metrics and key performance indicators to measure the impact of data analytics, accreditation, and support systems.
  • Carrying out these duties, you will play a crucial role in driving data driven decision making. Ensuring data integrity, and optimizing the use of data to support the organization’s overall success. You will support our schools in achieving and upkeeping important accreditation credentials.

Job Requirements of Data Analytics Director

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education and/or mathematics related subject area, or Bachelor’s degree with postgraduate qualification in education (eg. PGCE).
  • 5 years experience in a Senior Leadership role within assessment, data, and accreditation in a school/university.
