Job Purpose of A Customer Employee

Interact with customers to provide postal and non postal services through the service delivery window at the branch.

Job Duties of A Customer Employee

  • Provide all postal and non postal services to customers through service delivery window and the back office.
  • Fully explain service to customers, provide them with several options to the service and strive to increase revenue.
  • Build solid work relationships with customers through convincing them with the quality and diversity of the services offered by the company.
  • Check the weights and destination of shipments and ensure that they match with the specified standards and procedures.
  • Mastery of postal and non postal electronic systems.
  • Deliver daily revenue at the end of the shift to the concerned employee.
  • Comply with the application of company’s customer service standards.
  • Follow all relevant operational policies, processes and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Compliance with the laws and regulations stipulated in the system of labour policies and administrative regulations (attendance, absence, career commitment).
  • Dealing with sensitive and confidential information related to work with discretion to protect the interests of emirates post.
  • Perform any other duties related to this job or work task as allocated by the Line Manager or other management.

Qualification & Experience

  • High School or Certificate in customer services preferably.
  • 1-3 years experience in customer services, with accountability for a wide variety of administration tasks.

Skills Desired

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office programs.
  • Excellent administration and support skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multi task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to sell products and services.
  • Speaks Arabic and English.
