Duties as CSSD Technician

• To provide effective disinfection, inspection, assembly, sterilisation, storage and distribution of medical and surgical items to operating theatres and wards in line with company quality and patient safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• To perform sterilisation and related activities for medical and surgical items as per company standard and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• To provide input into CSSD quality improvement initiatives.
• Keep accurate records and perform relevant document audits as per policy.

Eligibility Criteria

For the role of CSSD Technician at Iranian Hospital Dubai, you’ll need the following qualifications and experience:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 2-3 years relevant experience in a CSSD department.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure with the relevant healthcare authority in the UAE.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of Sterilisation principles and practices.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control protocols.
