- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree / Higher Diploma in Financial Management.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Retail Lending / Assets Business Banking Credit & Portfolio Management (preferably) and first hand knowledge in underwriting Assets Business Banking / Financial Statement lending segment with a bank or financial institution.

Responsibilities of Credit Analyst
- To analyse and process applications basis overall assessment of financial and non-financials documents.
- To ensure productivity, SLA, TAT standards are duly adhered with utmost customer centric approach without compromise on bank’s risk appetite and parameters. Ensuring timely delivery of credit decision to external & internal customers.
- To ensure the policy exceptions are duly assessed, analysed and captured in line with defined classifications & delegation levels. To ensure the assessments are performed diligently with quality and clear credit assessment narrations and facilitate approvals from delegation holders.
- To ensure adherence to Regulatory Guidelines, Consumer Protection Standards, SOP, Policy & Procedures, Bank’s Legal & Compliance framework, Central Bank norms, Sharia principles while approving/recommending credit proposals, incorporating professional risk assessment and other relevant aspects to facilitate decision making by the approving authority. To be instrumental in building quality lending portfolio and ensure lending within bank’s defined risk appetite. To be vigilant and exercise due diligence from Fraud detection perspective as well.
- To ensure that the department achieves an acceptable risk rating in all internal & external audits.
- To be well verse and display highly satisfactory oral and written communication skills, including ability to write business proposals and technical reports in a clear, concise and well organize manner.
- To carry out / assist activities related to Credit After Sales Service as applicable, Remedial Solutions analyze structure and recommend remedial solutions for potential delinquent accounts with a view to keep the customer account current.
- To have strong interpersonal skills, team player, support other team members in the event of workload / otherwise.
- To support Line Manager / Unit Head on maintaining a regular BAU flow and business delivery.
- All the above accountabilities include but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager / Unit Head.
