EDGE Group is actively hiring suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of a Crafting Supervisor. The selected candidate will be assigned to work at AL TAIF Company (subsidiary of EDGE Group). Responsibilities of Crafting Supervisor

• Provide supervision to all assigned Signage and Crafting Sr. Technicians and Technicians in support of the accomplishment of the maintenance mission.
• Examine detailed engineering drawings and specifications to determine job scope, material and equipment requirements.
• Schedule all crafting and signage production works, preparing job distribution and machine loading plans, allocating manpower, ensuring that completed fabricated and assembled components are immediately handed over to the next part of the process, and monitoring and controlling material movement.
• Responsible for overseeing and completing crafting and signage related documentation such as tasks accomplished, direct labour hours consumed, job detailed information, material request forms, etc.
• Develop and monitor the training of all assigned employees on a variety of fabrication tasks.
• Supervise the completion of maintenance-related documentation such as maintenance orders, and technical data sheets.
• Comply with and enforce all safety, housekeeping and environmental directives.
• Monitor and control all crafting and signage fabrication operations.

Requirements for role of Crafting Supervisor

The eligibility requirements for role of Crafting Supervisor are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• A technical diploma supported by relevant experience.
• A minimum of three years of experience in hands-on crafting and signage production in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and ISO methodologies, practices and processes setting is an advantage.
• The ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings/schematics.
• The ability to read and use conventional and digital precision measuring instruments and tools.
