Courier (DWC)

Responsibilities

  • Wear the DHL uniform every shift to look sharp.

  • Deliver and pick up shipments without any hold-ups.

  • Build strong ties with customers for repeat business.

  • Hit Right Day Delivery targets and no missed pickups.

  • Scan shipments electronically to track everything.

  • Meet special delivery or pickup requests on time.

  • Handle cash from customers and report it right.

  • Work with the team to keep base operations humming.

  • Spot sales leads and pass them to the sales crew.

  • Give feedback on shipment changes or competitors.

  • Talk to dispatch when customer needs shift.

  • Keep the vehicle clean and drive safe, following rules.

  • Follow health and safety policies to stay protected.

  • Use trolleys for heavy lifts to avoid injuries.

  • Report incidents or damage to the supervisor fast.

Requirements

Education

No formal education required.

Experience

Over one year of driving experience with a clean UAE manual driver’s license.

Skills

  • Fluent English for customer chats; Arabic is a bonus.

  • Good organization to juggle routes and loads.

  • Customer-focused with a friendly approach.

  • Physical strength to lift, carry, and move packages.

  • Able to work in heat or rain without complaint.

  • Quick thinker to solve road or delivery issues.

Knowledge

  • Basics of safe driving and traffic laws in UAE.

  • Understanding of manual handling to avoid hurts.

  • Awareness of OHS and safety procedures.

  • Familiar with local Dubai areas for fast routes.

  • Insight into teamwork in logistics.

  • Grasp of basic scanning and reporting tools.
