Etisalat is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Cost Control Specialist to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of project costs, profit and loss (P&L), revenue, and pipeline to ensure financial accountability and profitability. You will work collaboratively with various departments to identify cost-saving opportunities, analyze financial data, and implement strategies to optimize financial performance.
Responsibilities Of Cost Control Specialist
- Manage project budgets throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
- Monitor and track project costs, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses.
- Identify and analyze variances from budgets and forecasts and investigate cost overruns.
- Recommend and implement cost-saving measures to improve project profitability.
- Prepare and present comprehensive cost reports and financial analyses to management for informed decision-making.
- Analyze and monitor company P&L statements, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Track and forecast revenue streams, ensuring accurate financial projections.
- Manage and analyze sales pipelines, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional departments (e.g., Project Management, Sales, Operations) to ensure data accuracy and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and cost-control methodologies.
Minimum Requirements
The eligibility requirements for the role of Cost Control Specialist are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA or CMA a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control, project management, or a related financial field.

- Proven experience in managing project budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address financial discrepancies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting tools (e.g., MS Excel).
- Experience with cost control software (e. g., Primavera, Deltek) a plus.
