Job Description
Corporate Travel Agent at BFL Group will have strong customer service skills, a deep understanding of travel booking systems, and the ability to optimize cost-efficiency while ensuring a seamless travel experience. Candidate will play a crucial role in supporting business operations by arranging travel accommodations, transportation, and other related services for business trips. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 6000-12000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Corporate Travel Agent
- Book domestic and international flights, hotel accommodations, car rentals, and other transportation services.
- Create customized itineraries that meet the company’s needs, preferences, and budget.
- Ensure compliance with corporate travel policies and guidelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all corporate travel inquiries and requests.
- Provide personalized travel advice and recommendations to business travellers.
- Assist with any travel-related issues, including cancellations, rescheduling, and emergencies.
- Cost Management & Optimization:
- Identify cost-effective travel options and provide recommendations to reduce travel expenses.
- Monitor travel spending and report on cost trends, offering suggestions for cost savings.
- Negotiate with vendors, including airlines and hotels, to secure the best rates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of travel bookings and transactions.
- Process travel expense reports, ensuring proper documentation for reimbursement.
- Provide post-trip reports for review, including feedback and any travel-related issues.
- Handle emergency or last-minute travel changes effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure travelers have all necessary documentation, including visas, passports, and vaccination requirements.
- Travel Policy Compliance:
- Ensure all bookings comply with company travel policies and relevant regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of travel guidelines to streamline processes and ensure consistency.
Requirements for Role of Corporate Travel Agent
- A degree in hospitality, tourism, business administration, or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in corporate travel.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in fast-paced or urgent situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and travel management software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to travel emergencies and changes quickly.
