Job Description

A Corporate Freight Pricing Executive at Aramex is responsible to work closely with local operations and development teams to generate airfreight quotations to support regular and/or spot pricing enquiries for global accounts, RFQS and tenders to the network.

Duties of Corporate Freight Pricing Executive

  • Aggressively participate in freight rates negotiations by working closely with carriers and liners, transporters, agents and counterparts to acquire the best rates in the market.
  • Develop and build solid relationships with carriers, agents and counterparts, at all levels, seeking best fit to secure the necessary rates and space agreements.
  • Help determine new services that we can develop by understanding the needs of the customers and keeping an eye on market including competitors’ activity, port developments and trade lanes growth.
  • Follow up with airlines for spot rates ex: reduction in rates on specific trade lane due to capacity issues.
  • Support the network in all RFQs and Tenders.
  • Manage Pricing team to handle all RFQ and ad-hoc enquiries received.
  • Communicate with international stakeholders on all pricing related matters.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of Corporate Freight Pricing Executive are as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or any other field.
  • 3-5 year of relevant working experience preferably in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry.
  • Experience in ocean freight is a plus

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Knowledge in DGR handling temperature control and retail businesss.
  • Good AFR product and pricing knowledge.
