The Corporate Finance Senior Manager at Abu Dhabi Ports will be responsible to conduct financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations. Provide detailed financial reviews and due diligence investigations to completing Abu Dhabi Ports Group’s business plans Creating Financial models to value potential investment opportunities. 

Duties of Corporate Finance Senior Manager

  • Support VP with Investment committee requirements.
  • Prepare a business case for the Investment project (Feasibility study, risk analysis, sensitivities analysis).
  • Support Clusters for their Investment decision and analysis.
  • Working closely with Industrial zone cluster for the 5 years Business plan and Budget.
  • Review and analyze Investment Committee proposal prior submitted to the IC Members.
  • Support VP Corporate finance with analysis for the various projects including ad hoc requirement.
  • Supporting the Abu Dhabi Ports Group’s business Units by performing financial analysis, feasibility studies, developing detailed financial models.
  • Business planning and investment management.
  • Monitoring of the financial performance (investment management) of various AD Ports Projects / Business Lines (including those developed through Joint Ventures).
  • Liaise regularly with the management of Joint Venture companies and monitor their financial performance.
  • Safeguard for Abu Dhabi Ports Group’s investment and returns thereof.
  • Develop, Update individual and consolidated Financial Models on a real time basis.
  • Prepare any other analysis, research work, presentations etc. requested by Senior Management.
  • Review agreements between AD Ports and other parties such as partners in joint ventures, major projects, major contracts, etc.
  • Provides advice to ensure that such agreements/contracts are technically & financially sound.
  • Support the approve/reject/direct the presented business cases and/or capital expenditure as appropriate, including and intended to mergers or acquisitions of companies, business, or assets.

What You’ll Do More?

  • Any termination, sale, transfer of ownership, exit or disposition of an existing investment.
  • Joint ventures under partnership agreements.
  • Investments (CAPEX or OPEX) in new or existing projects, expansions or other projects or activities (budgeted or unbudgeted) over AED 1 million.
  • Exercising any authority delegated to the Investment Committee pursuant to the DoA.
  • Tender and commercial bids requiring Capital investment or any other form of financial commitment.
  • Investment opportunities, other than those set up herein which Management wishes to submit to the Investment Committee.
  • Examination of financing prospects for the above transactions.

Eligibility Requirements for Role of Corporate Finance Senior Manager

The requirements for role of Corporate Finance Senior Manager are as under:

  • MBAs are preferred.
  • Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics are preferred major fields.
  • 3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience.
  • Proven work experience in a quantitatively heavy role.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Written and spoken English is a must.
  • Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
