Job Description

Transguard Group is currently recruiting for an Coordinator – Pest Control for their Facilities Management team. The Incumbent will work at Transguard  HQ, located in Dubai Airport Free Zone. The role person will oversee the safekeeping of pest control training materials, training equipment’s and training aids. He / she will plan, schedule and conduct of Health & Safety course for services staff in the pest control.

Duties as Pest Control Coordinator

  • Work delegation & management of resources to get maximum output form technicians.
  • Inspect buildings and the surrounding environment for signs of pest infestation.
  • Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests.
  • Estimate the cost of services rendered to clients or customers.
  • Use different pest control methods such as the setting of traps or baits to remove or kill pests.
  • Must be detailed oriented and be able to follow detailed instructions in applying pesticide to avoid harm to the client and self.
  • Prepare PPM plans and track reactive calls and follow up requests.
  • Implement plans with an aim to reduce pest’s infestation.
  • Identifying opportunities to sell additional company services and products.
  • Build positive, strong relationships with clients. Work to exceed client expectations.
  • Make suggestions to clients on how to avoid pest problems when appropriate.
  • Report to client contact person before and after providing pest prevention services.
  • Whenever possible, explain actual or potential problems to clients face-to-face.
  • Manage clients through company provided technology.
  • Participate fully in training opportunities provided to enhance knowledge and to meet requirements for licensing.
  • Liaise with the admins for internal admin related works.
  • Ability to use and implement CAFM technology in day-to-day operation.
  • Prepare maintenance requirements reports.
  • Monthly consumables tracker.
  • Materials arrangement for all teams.
  • Identify and implement chemical mixtures required for various types of pests.
  • Determining the kind of treatment required to eliminate a particular type of pest.
  • Advising customers on the kind of treatment required to eliminate identified pests.
  • Create site specific SOP’s wherever required.
  • Invoicing on time and accurately
  • Liaise with admins on timely invoicing
  • Review and communicate monthly reports to client’s.
  • Create pest infestation report in line with authority requirements and templates.
  • Strong ability to keep good records of hours worked, chemicals used.

Education & Experience of Pest Control Coordinator

  • Bachelor of Agricultural/Diploma in Public Health OR Bachelor in Chemical, Environmental Health OR Bachelor in Environmental chemistry.
  • 3 years experience in the field of Public Health Pest Control.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge on chemicals, machinery and materials, types of treatment, DM/ADM guidelines, Local authority regulations.
  • Reporting skills.
