A job Opportunity has arisen at Mubadala Health UAE for the position of a Contracts Manager for highly skilled candidates to join their legal team in Abu Dhabi. Job Purpose of A Contracts Manager

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of contracts management, negotiation, administration and compliance.
  • Provide guidance to a broad range of companies and stake holders in their group.
  • Ensure the successful execution of contracts, mitigating risks & maintaining relationships with partners and vendors

Your Job Duties As A Contracts Manager At Mubadala Health Abu Dhabi

Contract Management

  • Oversee the entire contracts life cycle, including drafting, review, negotiation and execution of various types of contracts, such as vendor agreements, consultancy service agreements, revenue agreements, distribution agreements, laboratory services agreements and clinical trial agreements.

Risk Assessment & Negotiation

  • Ability to assess potential risks and negotiate terms and conditions with third parties.

Contracts Partner

  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams during all stages of the transaction process including its execution.

Contract Administration

  • Maintain their standardized contract management systems to ensure correct documentation, filing and keeping up of contracts through out their life span.

Compliance Monitoring

  • Support the business to monitor contract performance, track deliverables and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Litigation and Dispute Resolution

  • Implement pro active strategies to prevent commercial disputes.
  • Effectively manage disputes that may arise by defending the group against claims or legal actions.
  • Works closely with external counsel to oversee and manage complex litigation matters and disputes.

Enable Group Success

  • Strive to deliver legal advices that safe guard the group’s strategic, legal and financial position, whilst fostering positive business relationships.
  • Creating mutually beneficial agreements and partner ships that support the group’s success.

Vendor and Partner Management

  • Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers and partners, ensuring adherence to contractual terms.

Contractual Analysis and Reporting

  • Conduct regular analysis of contract terms, trends and performance metrics, giving reports to senior management.

Legal Research and Analysis

  • Conduct in depth legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
  • Stay informed about new legal trends and developments that may impact the group’s operations.

Training and Education

  • Conduct contracts training sessions and work shops to enhance know how of contractual processes among employees.
  • Develop and deliver presentations on contractual topics relevant to the group’s operations.

Client Relations Officer, HealthPlus, Mubadala Health UAE

Who Can Apply?


  • Law degree (LLB or JD) from an internationally reputable university.
  • Admission to practice in the UAE, UK, USA or Australia.


  • Minimum of 6-12 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the health care or related industry.
  • Experience in a multinational organization is a plus.

Additional Knowledge Desired

  • Knowledge of contract law, commercial agreements and legal frame works with a proven track record in contract drafting, negotiation and risk assessment.
  • Know how with regulatory compliance requirements in the healthcare sector.
  • Ability to ensure contractual compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Understanding of the business and its operations, with a preference for experience in the health care sector.
  • Exhibits a good understanding of the areas of laws that under pin the health care sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the UAE’s federal and Emirate laws and legal reporting standards.
