Responsibilities of Content Writer/Specialist

  • Developing content across multiple communication channels including, but not limited to: Website Content, Emails, Screens &Newsletters.
  • Copywriting and editing for: Scripts, Announcements, SMS & Internal communications.
  • Creation of static imagery, including but not limited to social media ads, website banners, certificates, and other internal graphic design support.
  • Providing communication and editorial support to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintaining an editorial guide to keep a consistent tone of voice across all communications.
  • Contributing to creative ideas.
  • Conceptualizing strong message driven and visual campaigns.
  • Monitoring content trends within the industry.

Job Requirements of Content Writer/Specialist

  • Degree in Marketing or Communications.
  • 2+ years of copywriting and editing experience.
  • Experience in writing for a range of communication channels.
  • Experience in graphic design.
  • Experience in the UAE or international markets is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Competent in Adobe Creative Cloud Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign (mandatory).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Outstanding copywriting skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, pushing the boundaries of current technologies to create progressive content.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with business critical situations.
  • Independent initiative, sound judgment, and well developed decision making abilities.
  • Effective multi tasking and team working capabilities.
  • Critical Competencies: Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills, including the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Creative and artistic.
  • Any other relevant information: May need to second to social media coverage if social media specialist is away.
