About the Role

The Consultant Psychiatrist at Mubadala Health Dubai will provide expert psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and management for adult patients presenting with a wide range of mental health conditions. Furthermore, the role involves leading outpatient clinics and providing inpatient consultations as clinically required. Moreover, the successful candidate will develop personalized treatment plans in line with internationally recognised guidelines and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and management for adult patients with mental health conditions
• Lead outpatient clinics and provide inpatient consultations as clinically required
• Develop and implement personalised treatment plans in line with internationally recognised guidelines
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and coordinated care pathways
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety activities
• Support patient and family education, counselling, and long-term mental health management
• Contribute to departmental service development and clinical excellence programs
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation for all patient interactions

Requirements

• Recognised medical degree with Consultant-level qualification in Psychiatry (e.g. CCT/CCST, American Board, or equivalent)
• Eligibility for DOH licensure as a Consultant Psychiatrist
• Relevant post-qualification experience at Consultant level in a reputable clinical setting
• Strong clinical judgment with a patient-centred and ethical approach to care
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
