Looking for a Consultant Otolaryngology job in Ajman? Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMCA) is seeking an experienced ENT consultant to deliver comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical care for ear, nose, throat, head, and neck disorders. This full-time consultant position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic ENT department. Additionally, you will work with a skilled multidisciplinary team serving both adult and pediatric populations.
About the Role
As a Consultant Otolaryngologist, you will provide expert diagnostic and surgical management of complex ENT conditions across all age groups. Furthermore, you will oversee operative procedures, direct perioperative care, and lead the clinical team in delivering evidence-based otolaryngology practice. This senior role encompasses both routine and complex surgical interventions requiring advanced clinical judgment. Additionally, you will mentor junior doctors and residents while contributing to departmental quality and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat ear, nose, throat, head, and neck disorders in adults and children
- Perform major and minor surgical procedures and outpatient interventions
- Lead operative care and direct perioperative patient management
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in head and neck care
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and residents in ENT specialty
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health records
- Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to clinical audits and outcome monitoring
- Respond to emergency ENT cases and provide on-call cover
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Recognized ENT residency training and board certification
- Minimum 5 years post-certification experience as a Consultant ENT Surgeon
- Experience in both adult and pediatric otolaryngology (desirable)
- Valid MOH/DHA license or eligibility for registration
- Strong clinical, surgical, and communication skills
