Job Description

Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman is looking for an experienced Consultant in Orthopedics. This job opening is at SKMCA General Hospital. The candidates shall either have strong background and knowledge in TKH, THA and endoprosthesis or specialized in Ortho Trauma and have skills in Arthroscopic Surgery. UAE Nationals are welcomed to make use of this opportunity.

Role of Consultant Orthopedics

Provides Consultation to patients in orthopedic department. Makes diagnosis, discusses and implements the treatment plan with the patients and provides preventive care. 

Duties of a Consultant Orthopedics

  • Provide comprehensive orthopedic care to all patients.
  • Consult with other physicians and specialists for both in and outpatient cases when necessary.
  • Discuss and implement the treatment plan with the patients.
  • Ensure patient’s satisfaction.
  • Follow medical code of conduct at all costs.
  • Train and guide orthopedic trainees and other staff.
  • Perform any other related job tasks.

Education & Experience

  • MBBS or MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of specialty qualification (Tier 1 or Tier2).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the specialty.

Skills

  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Fluency in English and understanding of Arabic.
  • Sound Knowledge of Medical ethics.
  • Patient and soft spoken.
  • Basic knowledge of computer.
  • Effective organizational skills.
