About the Role

The Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Mubadala Health Dubai will provide specialist obstetric and gynecological care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services. Furthermore, the role involves managing a broad range of gynecological conditions through outpatient clinics and surgical interventions. Moreover, the successful candidate will collaborate with midwives, anesthetists, neonatologists, and other multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist obstetric and gynecological care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services
• Manage a broad range of gynecological conditions through outpatient clinics and surgical interventions
• Perform obstetric procedures and gynecological surgeries as clinically indicated
• Develop and implement individualized care and treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines
• Collaborate closely with midwives, anesthetists, neonatologists, and other multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety activities
• Provide patient education and counselling, supporting informed decision-making and continuity of care
• Contribute to department service development and clinical excellence initiatives

Requirements

• Recognised medical degree with Consultant-level qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (e.g. CCT/CCST, American Board, or equivalent)
• Eligibility for DOH licensure as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist
• Relevant post-qualification experience at Consultant level in a tertiary or reputable healthcare setting
• Strong clinical judgment with a patient-centred and safety-focused approach to care
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
