Ras Al Khaimah Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist to join their team of dedicated healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialized medical care related to women’s reproductive health and pregnancy. Your expertise and guidance will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of the patients.

Responsibilities of Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist

• Conduct regular Gynaecological examinations, including pelvic exams, pap smears, and breast examinations.
• Diagnose and treat various Gynaecological conditions, such as menstrual disorders, hormonal imbalances, and infections.
• Manage and oversee complex pregnancies, ensuring proper prenatal care, monitoring fetal development, and addressing any potential complications.
• Perform surgical procedures and interventions, including but not limited to cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopic surgeries.
• Provide counselling and guidance on contraception methods, family planning, and fertility issues.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment plans.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in obstetrics and gynaecology through continuous education and professional development.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting diagnoses, treatments, and progress of patients.
• Educate patients on women’s health issues, preventive measures, and promote healthy lifestyle choices.

Qualifications & Experience of Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist

To be successful for that role of Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist, you need the following:

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• Board certification or equivalent in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Consultant Obs/Gyn.
• Valid and active medical license from the relevant licensing authority in the UAE.(MOH, DHA or DOH Licensed Consultant Obs/Gyn)

Required Skills

•  Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound clinical judgments.
