NMC Healthcare is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Consultant Cardiac Surgeon – CBD to join them at NMC Royal Hospital in Sharjah. This job opportunity was announced by the company on January 4, 2024 under the requisition ID 3451. The consultant will perform complex surgery to repair heart and other cardiovascular system conditions and carry out preoperative assessment and postoperative follow-up.

Duties of Consultant Cardiac Surgeon

• Prescribing medication and providing counselling to patients and their families.
• Developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Keeping up to date with developments in the field and participating in research activities.
• Performing complex surgery to repair heart and other cardiovascular system conditions.
• Carrying out preoperative assessment and postoperative follow-up.

Qualifications & Experience

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Consultant Cardiac Surgeon – CBD at NMC Healthcare:

• Medical degree and successful completion of specialist training in cardiac surgery.
• At least three (3) years of practice as a cardiac surgeon with two (2) or more years as a licensed specialist with MOH evaluation/license.
