Computer Science Teacher – Sunmarke School, Dubai
Sunmarke School, part of Fortes Education in Dubai, is seeking an innovative Computer Science Teacher to deliver computing across secondary year groups. The school is rated ‘Outstanding’ by KHDA and offers the British curriculum alongside the IB Diploma Programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science from KS3 through to A-Level
- Deliver practical coding and programming sessions
- Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level Computer Science examinations
- Lead or support computing clubs, coding competitions and STEM events
- Promote computational thinking across the curriculum
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT
- PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 2 years of Computer Science teaching experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java or similar
- Experience with UK CS examination syllabi
Salary and Benefits
- Tax-free salary: AED 12,000 – 18,000 per month
