Compliance Manager Savills UAE

Savills is presently looking for experienced and skilled candidate for the job role of a Compliance Manager in Dubai. The selected candidate will be responsible for the management of the compliance and regulatory framework, overseeing all plc reporting and internal/external auditing.

Responsibilities of Compliance Manager

• Ensure the Compliance framework is relevant and kept up-to-date across Middle East offices and Pakistan.
• Work with HR to ensure that all new joiners are on-boarded correctly and compliant.
• Complete Enhanced Due Diligence on clients considered to be high-risk as per the Client Onboarding Policy.
• Monthly testing of new clients and the completion of KYC.
• Manage the Learning Management System and track the completion rates of mandatory training modules across the Middle East, escalating internally where necessary.
• Co-ordination of reporting submissions to the Group including health and safety, environmental sustainability, insurance policy details, gifts and entertainment register and whistleblowing activities.
• Annual review of policies and procedures across the business to ensure compliance, including, but not limited to:
• AML and Client acceptance.
• Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
• Speak-Up Policy (Whistleblowing).
• Gifts and Entertainment Register.
• Build effective relationships with key contacts across Savills, specifically risk & compliance peers across the EME region.
• Review legal contracts and documentation, providing feedback and advice to the business.
• Continually drive improvement in quality and efficiency of processes through alignment of local and global processes and policies.
• Develop and manage ME compliance intranet site to best support the business.
• Manage relationships with third party support providers e.g. training, compliance checks and others as required.

Job Requirements For Compliance Manager

Eligibility requirements for the role of Compliance Manager are as under:

• Be qualified to Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally with compliance experience: all relevant professional qualifications and experience considered.
• A strong track record in a similar role, ideally with experience in a professional services background with an international company.
• At least four years’ compliance experience in a multinational.

• Business acumen and professionalism is required due to the exposure to all levels of the business from graduates to executive directors.

• Ability to work flexibly and adaptable to change.
• Ability to think strategically and visualize the bigger picture.
• A proficient user of all Microsoft applications.
• Strong English skills; Arabic speaking skills as advantageous but not essential.
