Apparel Group is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Compliance Executive with regulatory affairs experience to join the team. Candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our cosmetic products adhere to the regulatory standards set by relevant government bodies. The candidate will have a scientific work background, educational qualifications in a related field and preferably experience in the cosmetic industry.
Responsibilities of Compliance Executive
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for cosmetic products.
- Documentation and Submissions: Prepare and submit necessary documentation to relevant government bodies for product registrations and approvals.
- Product Labeling: Collaborate with product development teams to ensure accurate and compliant product labeling based on regulatory standards.
- Monitoring Changes: Stay abreast of changes in regulations & standards related to cosmetics in the GCC.
- Implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, quality assurance and legal, to align compliance efforts with business goals.
Requirements for Role of Compliance Executive
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, preferably in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
- 1 year experience in the cosmetic industry, with a focus on regulatory affairs and compliance.
- Experience with regulatory bodies such as SASO, SFDA, Montaji and MOIAT.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Strong understanding of cosmetic regulations and standards in the GCC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and organize regulatory documentation.
