Responsibilities of Driver
- Safely and responsibly operate company vehicles to transport employees, clients, and goods to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times, including regular fueling, cleaning, and scheduled maintenance.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods and equipment as needed.
- Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
- Monitor vehicle condition and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance activities.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner during interactions with clients and other stakeholders.
- Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Requirements of Driver
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry moderate loads.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years as a company driver or in a similar role.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
