Job Purpose of A Commissioning Engineer

To ensure that systems, equipment, or facilities are installed, tested, and function correctly before being handed over for regular operation.

Job Duties of A Commissioning Engineer

• Commission / service the system in accordance with the commissioning and service manuals or instructions.
• Assist the commissioning procedures, completion and commissioning check sheets, handover procedures and certification and punch list procedures.
• Provide the project team with an accurate assessment of the commissioning requirement.
• Participate in technical reviews for QA/QC and engineering works.
• Provide users with operation and maintenance orientation or training on company supplied equipment’s.
• Carrying out system troubleshooting as necessary while commissioning and to provide appropriate remedy.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentations or similar.
• 5 Years’ experience in executing Pre Commissioning and Commissioning activities for ELV Systems.

Knowledge & Skills Desired

• Result orientated, tenacious, self-motivated, strong synergy and a customer focused approach.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent inter-personal skills.
• Must be able to adapt working style to the personalities and work styles of stakeholders and internal partners.
• Must have a UAE driving license.
