Novotel World Trade Centre DubaiLocation is looking to hire suitably skilled and devoted candidate for role of Commis I to join their team. The role holder will play a pivotal role in our kitchen working alongside a fantastic team. The food you prepare, cook and serve makes our guests smile and wanting more.

Responsibilities of Commis I

• Recognises good quality products and presentation.
• Assist the Chef de Partie & Demi Chef in the production of the mise-en-place for the elaboration of  all menus according to standard recipes .
• Attends meetings and training sessions organized by the Hotel management for the position.
• To achieve high quality production all over cost control.
• Manages time effectively, by meeting deadlines on time.
• Assist the Chef de Partie in the production and distribution of food items according to requirement.

Requirements of Commis I

• Vocational diploma in food & beverage and/or any initial training.
• 1+ years of experience in similar role.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team.
• Add diplomas/certifications required if needed.
