DAMAC Group is currently hiring a candidate for the job role of a Commis de Cuisine I in Pool Bar in DAMAC Executive Heights, TECOM, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, PO Box 2195 Dubai, UAE. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 3000-5000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Commis de Cuisine I

• Assist in the food preparation process.
• Prepare meal ingredients, which includes seasoning of different meats as well as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
• Help with deliveries and restocking.
• To ensure that the working area is clean at all the time.
• Take any note on new recipes, new procedures, keep the learning process going at all times to improve the professional knowledge.
• Perform any general duties as defined by the supervisor and help in any other department or section in the kitchen.
• Attend any training sessions and always strives to keep abreast of any procedures and general works on upgrading the general knowledge with the help of the supervisor.

Requirements for Role of Commis de Cuisine I

• High school Diploma.
• Previous 2 years work experience in a similar position in a four or five star hotel or comparable restaurant.
• 2-4 years Culinary experience
• 1 year minimum in a similar role in a 5 * international environment.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Basic Food hygiene and HACCP Overview trained.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Strong command in English Language.
• Organized and well planned
• Able to work with speed and efficiency throughout maintaining positive attitude
