The role holder is a key team member in the kitchen, assisting in food preparation and ensuring high standards of culinary excellence. This role involves working under the guidance of senior chefs, learning various cooking techniques, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. The candidate contributes significantly to delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests through quality and presentation of dishes.

Responsibilities of Commis Chef

The jobholder is responsible to prepare a consistent, high quality food product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service that supports the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards.

Requirements of Commis Chef

  • Completed kitchen apprentice or chefs professional course.
  • Must have experience in a similar role and already based in the UAE
  • 1 year work experience as in similar role or 2 years as Apprentice in a hotel or restaurant with good standards
