Commis 2 Jumeirah Living Marina Gate Dubai

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commis 2 to join our Culinary team in Jumeirah Living Marina Gate at Al Khayay Street, Dubai Marina, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The main purpose of the role is to carry out skilled maintenance and repairs related to the section. This is an Entry level full time job. For this job the salary ranges from 3000-6000 AED/month which may be slightly negotiable during interview process.

Responsibilities of Commis 2

• Assisting in the food preparation process
• Cooking and preparing elements of high-quality dishes
• Preparing vegetables, meats, and fish
• Assisting other Chefs
• Helping with deliveries and restocking
• Assisting with stock rotation Cleaning stations
• Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.

Requirements of Commis 2

• College Degree in Culinary Arts or similar from an accredited Culinary School.
• Experience of kitchen equipment
• Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives
• Minimum  1-2 year relevant experience

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Food Hygiene knowledge
• Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations and chemical safety.
