Responsibilities of A Senior Commercial Quantity Surveyor

• The Senior Quantity Surveyor will undertake quantity surveying tasks of all projects, contract administration and assist the project managers for routine contract and commercial related support.
• Reporting to the Commercial Director, this role will collaborate with team members from the Commercial Department and shall support Finance and Operations.
• Prepare and submit the projects’ monthly interim payment applications and final statements. Follow up with clients and/or engineering representatives till final approval.
• Closely liaising with other departments to prepare, analyse, price and submit contracts in a timely manner, taking into account any additional scope of works according to contract requirements.
• Additionally, this role will assist in the preparation of monthly project reports and other cost reports required by the PM’s.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of a Senior Commercial Quantity Surveyor are as under:

• Engineering Degree from an internationally recognised University.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role with a demonstrable track-record delivering piling, shoring and marine works contracting projects in the GCC.
• Experience of monitoring multiple piling, shoring and marine projects at any one time
• Knowledge of the documentation process from inception to completion.
• Sound knowledge of CCS (Candy).
