Job Description
Commercial Excellence Manager (EMEA Indirect Market) at ORVEON (a flagship brand linked to Chalhoub Group) will play a pivotal role in overseeing, supporting, and coordinating all commercial and brand activities across Distributor markets in EMEA region, encompassing all Orveon brands – bareMinerals, Buxom & Laura Mercier. To proactively foster collaboration across teams. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-35000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Commercial Excellence Manager
- Commercial:
- Achieve business & sales objectives (Net Sales) in assigned Distributor markets through effective management.
- Establish a clear workflow process for timely submission of forecasts and orders aligned with budgets.
- Create and monitor monthly sales report, sell-in inventory, and Distributors’ performance.
- Provide monthly market progress update reports, commentaries and propose mitigation plans of BTG (Balance to Go) for review and discussion.
- Use business analytics to understand key assigned markets indicators (Inventories, Sell In, and cost structures) to ensure healthy and sustainable growth are maintained.
- Pro-actively share trends and opportunities through market observation and data, use this to build & generate ideas to propose to BDD.
- Partner with Distributors in driving and achieving distribution expansion. Keep the distribution database updated.
- Contribute to and work collaboratively with immediate team and cross functional counterparts.
- Manage pricing, sales & ordering and registration process with Demand Planning, Customer Service Team, Legal team, resolve issues and act as a liaison between distributor partners and internal team.
- Brand Support:
- Align and collaborate with Global marketing on the individual Distributors’ Marketing Calendar and ensure timely execution.
- Cascade & adapt all brand marketing information, assets, updates, bulletins to markets in consultation with BDD and Global Marketing.
- Align and monitor Distributors’ A&P investment is in line with brands’ strategic direction.
- Collaborate with markets for strong 360 marketing plans & execution behind HERO launches in the various Channels (B&M, E-Commerce and Social Media platforms).
- Trade plans: Review, challenge and validate with markets.
- Manage assortment, including phase in/out and placement of innovation orders.
- Prepare and share monthly marketing activation reports & quarterly for best practices.
What you will do more
- Ensure E-commerce sites, POS, Activations on the brands are updated with the latest visuals.
- Launch feedbacks: Review, challenge and validate with markets
- Coordinate PR execution between distributors & EMEA marketing: review paid collaboration and PR events requests, secure the required validations for seeding lists and compo.
- Manage with the markets the impact from launch delays and OOS (focus transfer, new creative dev, etc.)
- Creative asset requests submission and follow-up with Global team.
Requirements for Role of Commercial Excellence Manager
- Degree in Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 – 8 years Sales & Marketing experience managing distributors
- Experience working either in a regional capacity or in several different markets in the EMEA region.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- An understanding of the Cosmetics market would be necessary and experience in the Beauty Industry.
- Ability to communicate fluently, both spoken and written English. Other languages a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of energy.
- Strong communicator and has good presentation skills, able to drive discussions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Good commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of account management.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the in-store environment, promotional and POS landscape.
- Highly numerate. Can demonstrate a good understanding of account profits, margins etc.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze and present data.
- Ability to positively influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to distil simplicity from complexity.
- Ability to think creatively beyond typical parameters.
- Essential to be self-motivated with a positive outlook.
