American University in the Emirates
Nothing is Impossible
The American University in the Emirates (AUE) is seeking a proactive, highly organized, and bilingual College Coordinator to support the administrative functions of the College of Law in Dubai. This full-time position plays a vital role in facilitating smooth communication between faculty, students, and external stakeholders, ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of one of AUE’s most prestigious academic colleges. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple administrative responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic university environment.
The College Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all administrative activities within the College of Law, including scheduling, correspondence, record-keeping, and coordination of college events and meetings. In addition, the Coordinator will serve as a primary point of contact for faculty members, students, and external partners, facilitating clear and timely communication across all levels. Moreover, the role involves assisting with academic program administration, student affairs activities, accreditation documentation, and any other administrative tasks as assigned by college leadership throughout the academic year.
A defining feature of this role is the requirement for strong bilingual communication skills in both English and Arabic. Consequently, the Coordinator must be able to draft professional correspondence, prepare reports, and engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders in both languages. Since the College of Law serves students from across the UAE and the broader Arab world, the ability to communicate fluently in Arabic is essential for building trust and maintaining strong relationships with students, faculty, and community partners. Additionally, the Coordinator will represent the college in various internal and external communication channels.
Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of legal education and administrative processes within a college or university setting. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant administrative software is required to manage documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and communications efficiently. The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters is also critical. Furthermore, excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are core competencies that will define success in this role.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university. Additionally, prior experience in academic administration or a similar administrative role is preferred, as familiarity with university operations and processes greatly enhances performance in this position. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with faculty, students, administrators, and external stakeholders are also essential requirements. Moreover, candidates who demonstrate a genuine interest in legal education and a commitment to supporting academic excellence will be strongly considered during the selection process.
AUE is a prestigious institution of higher education in Dubai, accredited by SACSCOC and licensed by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA). The College of Law is one of AUE’s seven dynamic colleges, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs that prepare students for professional legal practice across the UAE and internationally. Since its founding, AUE has built a rich and inclusive academic community of students from over 100 nationalities. Additionally, the university provides a collaborative and professional work environment that supports both personal and career development for all employees.

The estimated salary range for the College Coordinator position is AED 8,000 to AED 18,000 per month. Therefore, this role presents an excellent opportunity for a bilingual administrative professional seeking a stable and rewarding career at one of Dubai’s most respected universities. Additional benefits include annual leave entitlements, professional development opportunities, and access to AUE’s comprehensive employee support programs.
Interested candidates are encouraged to apply through the AUE official careers portal and submit a complete application at the earliest opportunity. Please include an updated curriculum vitae, a cover letter highlighting your bilingual communication skills and administrative experience, and copies of all relevant academic qualifications. AUE is an equal opportunity employer and warmly welcomes applications from all qualified candidates regardless of nationality, gender, or background. We look forward to welcoming a dedicated and detail-oriented College Coordinator to the College of Law team at AUE.
