Job Purpose of A Collection Coordinator
- The collection coordinator job role is to reach out to clients through calls correspondence to remind them of their payment obligations, arranging appointments, processing payments, arranging payment terms, and researching a client’s communication information such as cellphone number, address, or email.
- Moreover, a collections coordinator must maintain an active communication line with staff while promoting and enforcing the company’s policies and regulations.
Duties of A Collection Coordinator
- Ensure customer payment receipts and invoices application on time for all clusters.
- Conducts collection calls and follow-up on past due invoices for various regional sports networks to ensure minimum past due invoices with clients ranging from large agencies to small business based on the assigned customer.
- Attending customers and internal departments inquiries.
- Sending customer statement of account and follow up with customer for overdue payment.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer payment follow up activity, disputed invoices,and customer minutes of meetings.
- Ensures manager and management are kept apprised of potential bad debt issues.
- Generate aging reports from the system.
- Act as AR receipt user for accounts receivables module.
- Attending meetings with internal/external customer.
- Support function for credit control team.
Who Can Apply?
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
Experience
- 3-5 years of previous proven experience.
Skills Desired
- Knowledge in ERP, especially Oracle.
- Effective interaction with different team members to agree appropriate approach to client query /dispute resolution.
- Contribute to collection targets and other KPI’s both individually and for the team.
