The College of Business Administration (COBA) at the American University in the Emirates (AUE), accredited by AACSB International, is inviting applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Hospital and Healthcare Management for the Fall Semester in Dubai. Areas of Specialization
The college is seeking candidates with expertise in one or more of the following specialization areas: Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Health Policy and Economics, Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety, Health Information Systems, and Healthcare Operations Management. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Hospital and Healthcare Management courses, carrying a standard teaching load of 12 credit hours per academic semester. In addition to teaching, the faculty member will assess student performance, provide academic advising, and participate in departmental and university-wide committee activities. Moreover, the candidate is expected to engage in scholarly research, publish in peer-reviewed academic journals, and contribute actively to the college’s research productivity and community engagement initiatives throughout the academic year.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Health Policy, or a closely related field from an internationally accredited institution. Additionally, a demonstrated record of research and academic publications in peer-reviewed journals is required. Prior teaching experience at the university level in relevant healthcare management courses is also expected. Furthermore, candidates with professional experience in hospital or healthcare administration are particularly encouraged to apply, as practical exposure significantly enriches the classroom learning experience for students.

Compensation and Benefits
AUE offers a competitive salary package along with a comprehensive benefits program for all full-time faculty members. The estimated salary range for this position is AED 12,000 to AED 22,000 per month, commensurate with academic rank and relevant experience.
