Job Description

CMM Programmer at EDGE Group will responsible for initial designs to finished components, including build to print, offer a complete array of specialist technical services that include Engineering, Machining, Special processes, Laboratories and inspection. 

Responsibilities of CMM Programmer

  • CMM Programmer develops, maintains and generates CMM programs & CMM WIs used to inspect and verify production materials and components.
  • Reviews blueprints and specifications to establish correct inspection criteria following best practices.
  • Complete first article inspections, in-process inspections and final inspection of parts and assemblies against blueprints, engineering drawings and job travelers to ensure that products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Dimensional inspection will require use of precision measuring equipment including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, height gages, CMM and Faro Arm.
  •  Perform receiving inspection on all goods and services.
  • Verifying quality and receiving codes are met and quantities received are accurate.
  • Non-Conforming Product-Segregates and reports all non-conforming material and parts for prompt corrective action.
  • Report of Findings and Complete data entry, prepares reports and issues findings as required using operating software and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel) to support inspection activities.
  • Maintain current calibration status on all equipment as required.
  • Utilize GageTrak to monitor status and ensure no devices go past due on calibration.
  • Coordinate on-site and off-site calibration activities, as well as perform calibration of instruments in-house.
  • Support with Internal Audits.
  • Ensure compliance to AS9100 quality standards.
  • Championing the organization values and performance culture at all times to model behaviors to wider team staff.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for in role of CMM Programmer are as under:

  • At least 5 years in CMM or quality control.
  • Aerospace, defense and Oil & Gas experience is desirable.
  • Certification for Quality Control or relevant experience.
  • Aerospace, Defense and Oil & Gas is desirable.
  • AS9100 and ISO quality standard certification is desirable.
  • CPSM certification desirable.
