Cloud Solutions Architect Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi

Cloud Solutions Architect at Etihad Airways role will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, that are highly secure, resilient, fault-tolerant, and compliant for different business units within Etihad.  The Cloud Architect will collaborate with different stakeholders, leading the design and implementation of cutting-edge cloud solutions, provide technical expertise and architectural guidance to ensure alignment with business objectives, Etihad well architected principles and industry best practices.

Responsibilities of Cloud Solutions Architect

• Develop cloud architecture blueprints, including high-level and detailed designs that are secure, cost-efficient, scalable & reliable.
• Design and implement public/private cloud-based architectures that span cloud infrastructure, platforms & services to support the requirements of various business units within Etihad.
• Implement cloud cost management & governance frameworks, processes, guardrails that are aligned with Etihad well architected principles & industry best practices.
• Develop proof-of-concepts, provide hands-on expertise to develop Cloud native solutions to engineering teams, accelerate DevSecOps, IaC, Cloud Observability, automations adoption.

Eligible Requirements

The eligibility requirement for role of Cloud Solutions Architect are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree in a technology discipline.
• Azure/AWS/GCP Solution Architect Certified.
• 10+ years’ experience in Cloud technologies and cloud operating models.
• Experienced in assessing existing infrastructure & applications, identifying migration/optimization opportunities, devising migration strategy & roadmaps.
• Experienced in microservices, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, Serverless, Functions.

Skill And Knowledge Desired

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills on the cloud.
• Solid understanding of Cloud services including Compute, Databases, Storage, AI/ML, Analytics, Networking, Security, Multi-Cloud, Cloud services monitoring.
• Cloud Cost Management/FinOps – Workload estimation, optimization, right sizing, reservations, cloud spend tracking, budgeting, forecasting.
• Well versed with Cloud Security – IAM, RBAC, Directories, data privacy, regulatory compliance, security standards on cloud.
