Duties of Cloud Command Center Lead
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of subject matter experts, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.
Infrastructure Maintenance and Support:
- Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of the Cloud infrastructure components, including network devices, servers, storage systems, and data centers.
- Oversee the resolution of infrastructure-related incidents, problems, and service requests, ensuring timely and effective responses.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Full responsibility of the du Cloud Services and Infrastructure
- Investigate and analyze complex infrastructure issues, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate solutions.
Optimization and Enhancements:
- Collaborate with technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for infrastructure improvements, capacity planning, performance enhancements, and cost optimization.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh cycles, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal users, business units, and external vendors to understand their infrastructure support needs and expectations.
- Serve as a liaison between the infrastructure support team and other departments, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
Job Requirements For Cloud Command Center Lead
Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in CS&E, E&C, E&E, MCA or Master’s degree in computer science or information Systems
- International Certifications (MCSE / MCP /CCNP certification preferred), PMP, ITIL, Agile.
Experience
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Managed Service environment
- 5 years of experience in managing a team, Operations (Infra/Apps) and Service Delivery.
- Proven experience in Infrastructure technologies (VMWare, VCD, VROPS, VRLI, Rubrik, Avamar, SQL & Oracle DBA, Windows and Linux Administration, Data, Advanced Connectivity, Security Services, Data Centre & Cloud, Mobility & Applications).
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Language proficiency in the following languages – English/Arabic.
- Must have knowledge on using the following tools: HP Service. Management, Exchange, Cisco ACI, UCS and Zenos, Manage Engine, HP SM, Mobile Device Management, knowledge on Exchange, AD, VMWare.
- Knowledge in different technologies such as Microsoft, SQL Server, Oracle, OpenStack, NSX, Kubernetes platform.
