University of Sharjah (UoS) is seeking applications for the job position of Clinical Tutor Clinical (Pharmacy / Pharm D) to join their Pharmacy College in UAE. Role of Pharmacy Clinical Tutor

At University of Sharjah, UAE the job role of Clinical Tutor of Pharmacy is to evaluate PharmD students’ clinical training performance via oral and written exams quizzes and assignments and other clinical training activities.

Duties of Clinical Tutor of Pharmacy

• On-site Supervision of Pharm-D students on Clinical Rotations’ training.
• Mentor Pharm-D students in the provision of Pharmaceutical care.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services to the host institution (teaching site). COordinate the activities with the Institution and the college of pharmacy.
• Serve as a Clinical Preceptor for Sharjah college of pharmacy Pharm-D students.
• Directly supervise Pharm-D/Pharmacy students’ onsite clinical training activities.
• Contribute to the host institution by providing clinical pharmacy service.

Director of Pharmacy NMC Healthcare Abu Dhabi UAE

Education & Experience

• First degree in pharmacy.
• A Pharm-D degree from a USA accredited university or equivalent is a MUST.
• Previous 2 years experience in pharmacy students’ clinical training programs.

Licensure

• Board Certified Pharmacotherapy specialist (BCPS) is a plus.
• UAE clinical Pharmacist practice licence is preferable.

Skills

• Possess excellent communication skills in Arabic (speaking and writing) is a plus.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Time Management.
