Clinical Dietitian Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital Abu Dhabi

Clinical Dietitian at Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital in Al Rawdah, W58, Abu Dhabi, UAE will performs the necessary duties of receiving patients, construing physicians’ diagnosis and orders and fulfill short term or long term diet and nutritional plan accordingly to maintain and/or improve the health of the patient. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 7000-15000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Clinical Dietitian

• Between Physician, Nursing and SLP Therapists to ensure the dietary plans are in effect for the patient.
• The dietary plans to amend/improve the plan accordingly based on the health conditions as diagnosed by the physician.
• Physician diet orders and understands limitations of the patient and drafts a custom nutritional and dietary plan accordingly specifically for the patient.
• Patients on the reasoning behind the dietary plan and the benefits of adhering to the same and the restrictions to follow.
• Alternative solutions if the patient is unable to consume the meal/diet plan provided in accordance to the limitation of the patient.
• In-between-meal nourishments for patients as deemed fit.
• All dietary history, practiced plans, implemented plans, revisions, calorie and nutrient intake levels.
• All nutritional assessment on patient medical record.
• In Diet and Nutrition educational plans as delegated.
• Attends all assigned and requested patient care plan meetings to ensure a highly effective cross functional patient care plan.

Requirements for Role of Clinical Dietitian

• University degree in Clinical Nutrition and/or Dietetics; Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition and/or Dietetics preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a multispecialty hospital.
