Clinic Coordinator Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital Abu Dhabi

A Clinic Coordinator at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital is responsible to provide non clinical support and coordination related to patients care including but not limited to scheduling and following up on appointments and communicating with patients / guests and their families to provide instructions and directions regarding their medical visits in line with company’s policies.

Responsibilities of Clinic Coordinator

• Takes part along with the Line Manager to meet the division’s strategic and operational goals.
• Adheres to the division’s policies while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory bodies.
• Provides recommendations to improve the division’s policy and procedures.
• Contributes towards an innovative culture of continuous improvement for enhancing operational efficiency.
• Take part in meetings and maintains professionalism and confidentiality as per the standard code of conduct.
• Timely complete personal performance evaluation cycle.
• Coordinates and schedules patients and guests visits and ensures follow up appointments are made.
• Reviews the daily schedule of the function’s medical caregivers to maximize and manage allocated appointment slots.
• Liaises with the all stakeholders regarding hospital reservations, updates patient admission information and cancels / re-make appointments when needed.
• Handles and responds to emails and queries.
• Coordinates with the internal teams to ease out the patient / guest admission process.
• Reviews all patients related tests to ensure completeness and liaises with medical teams in case of any issues.
• Develops educational materials with the help of line manager and care givers.
• Actively takes part in training programs and on the job learning to learn and enhance skill set required to perform the job.
• Communicates with team members and maintains good liaison to ensure smooth conduct of activities.

Qualifications & Experience

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Clinic Coordinator at Mediclinic:

• Vocational / Technical education.
• 2 plus years of similar experience.

Skills Desired

• Strong organization skills.
• Ability to communicate and relay messages to patients in a sensitive manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Fluency is written and spoken English
