Chief Quantity Surveyor Roads & Transport Authority Dubai

Roads and Transport Authority is presently hiring for the job role of Chief Quantity Surveyor in uae. This is a full time job role for All nationalities holder but Priority will be given to UAE National. There is no gender restrictions for this job, both males and females can apply.

Responsibilities of Chief Quantity Surveyor

• Prepare Interim Payment Certificates, Statement at completion and Final Statement for in-house projects.
• Prepare Terms of References (TOR) for Tendering of Consultancy Services
• Deal with Tenders from Contractors and advising Manager on legal and contractual matters of the projects.
• Cost controlling of the projects to complete the work within the budget by coordinating with Consultants and other department of RTA.
• Write day to day contractual and commercial correspondences.
• Take over inspection of the projects at completion to make sure the project are completed contractually.
• Prepare the Tender Evaluation report for the submitted Tenders and recommend the suitable Tenderer to award the project.

Requirements of Chief Quantity Surveyor

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying from a recognized university.
• 8 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in dealing with construction projects, contractually and financially aware to ensure successful management of all financial aspects of the projects.
• Experience in estimation, cost planning and evaluation of claims.

Skills and Abilities Desired

• Good knowledge of statistical methods and their applications
• Proven ability to develop quality standards, testing procedures, inspection reporting formats, and ability to conceptualize tasks and accomplish them.
