Chemical Engineer NAFFCO Dubai

NAFFCO is hiring a Chemical Engineer ( Foam & ABC Powder) at Jebel Ali Free zone، South Area، Jebel Ali Free Zone Street, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 4000-6000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Chemical Engineer

• Develop and optimize chemical processes for the production of foam and ABC powder, taking into account safety, cost, and efficiency.
• Conduct experiments and analyze data to identify and solve problems in the production process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to foam and ABC powder production, such as quality control problems or equipment malfunctions.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source raw materials and equipment for foam and ABC powder production.

Requirements for Role of Chemical Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years experience in progressively responsible roles within the field.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Physical ability to work in a laboratory or production environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Good understanding of the fundamentals of chemical engineering including, Surface tension , Film formation , material and fluid dynamics, heat transfer, thermodynamics and mixing phenomena
• Capable to identify new methods of manufacturing chemicals and creating the process.
• Capable to prepare MSDS and technical datasheet of the foam concentrates.
• Strong knowledge on UL 162, UL 139 , EN 1568 and ICAO foam concentrate testing requirements and ISO 17025
