Chef de Partie DAMAC Group

DAMAC Group is presently hiring suitably qualified and experienced candidate for job role of Chef de Partie. The selected candidate will be responsible for the oversight of all bakery items that are prepared in their section. A successful candidate must be very knowledgeable about their specialty, as well as culinary functions in general.

Duties of Chef de Partie

• Write daily food requisitions and kitchens transfers in order to achieve the stock rotation desired.
• Check food preparation, quality, quantity and portion control daily.
• Report any problems, failures of machines or small equipment and so on as soon as possible.
• Inspect all refrigerated areas and ensure regular turnover of food items.
• Report any out of stock items immediately to supervisors.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head from time to time.
• Minimize wastage and spoilage by monitoring occupancy forecasts.
• Liaise with the Back of House team to ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained, i.e. machinery, small equipment, floors, refrigerators, etc.
• Adhere to all procedures regarding Health & safety and HACCP standards.
• Perform any other duty as assigned by the higher authorities or which may fall with in the scope of job work.

Eligibility Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Chef de Partie are as under:

• Diploma certificate or professional course in Culinary Arts or similar from an accredited Culinary School.
• A total of 3-5 years’ culinary experience.
• 1-2 years minimum in a similar role in a 5 * international environment.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
