Job Purpose of A Chef De Cuisine
- Responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, menu development, and culinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes and a memorable dining experience.
- Their role involves culinary leadership, creativity, and maintaining kitchen efficiency.
Duties of A Chef De Cuisine
- Responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
- Manage the assigned kitchen as an independent profit centre, in line with the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards.
- Ensuring maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget, helping to ensure the financial success of the outlet.
Who Can Apply?
- High School Diploma.
- Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management.
Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Sous Chef in a hotel or restaurant of good standards.
- Experience in luxury international brands with a thorough experience in Singaporean cuisine and seafood specialty.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
- Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System.
