Galadari Brothers Group presently has a job opening for qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Checker. This job has recently been posted by company’s career page on 5 February 2024 and is now open for all desirous candidates.

Duties of Checker

• Checking of Tekla models, general arrangement drawings, shop assembly and single part drawings & erection drawings prepared by modelers/detailers.
• Daily reporting of modelling and detailing progress to design manager.
• Ensure timely delivery & quality of all the drawings.
• Evaluate and improve the performance of detailing team by providing guidance and training in software or methodology.
• Foreseeing construction problems during Fabrication and erection and providing swift resolutions during modelling and detailing stage.
• Responsible for implementing a proper detailing standard for the company.
• Interacting with production and project team, before starting of the modelling & detailing to ensure smooth and hassle-free workflow in workshop and site.

Elgibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of Checker are as under:

• Requires Minimum Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical or civil engineering.
• Minimum 10-15 years of total experience in Tekla modelling, detailing & checking, out of which 3 years should be in similar role.

 Skills Desired

• Proficient in foreseeing construction problems, clashes, and providing swift resolutions during modelling and detailing stage.
• Technical knowledge of the design & detailing process.
• In depth knowledge of steel industry like all types of Steel Industry activities, design codes, Welds and materials.
