Job Description

Hotels/Restaurant industry is looking for a competent CCTV Operator to capture high quality and attractive images for film or TV broadcasting. You’ll be an integral part of their mission to spread information and striking visuals to the world. Moreover a camera operator has a steady hand and quick reflexes. This vacancy was posted on the Khaleej Times classifieds.

Responsibilities of CCTV Operator

  • Work with directors to determine all aspects of shots.
  • Provide practical and creative input to scene planning.
  • Select, assemble and position equipment (cameras, stands, software etc.).
  • Prepare cameras and test angles or camera movements.
  • Shoot scenes according to requirements.
  • Capture quality footage from a fixed or moving position.
  • Collaborate with make up artists, lighting and sound staff to produce the best final effect.
  • Resolve technical or practical issues.

Requirements for CCTV Operator

  • High School Diploma or Certification in IT.
  • Previous experience of 1-2 years in similar role.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Understanding and ability to work in a multicultural environment tactfully and effectively.
  • Excellent Problem solving skills.
