Category Insights Manager Nestle Dubai

The category Insight Manager at Nestle in 3rd Floor, Dubai World Central HQ Building Near New Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai, UAE owns business partnership with category teams to ensure future business growth identification and continuous improvement in knowledge of the category consumer and shopper across the region, building, inspiring, actioning upon, and instilling best in class consumer and shopper knowledge across the business. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-30000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Category Insights Manager

  • Business partnership to drive long-term growth.
  • Supports Generating Demand teams and corporate functions (General Management, Communication & Media, Nutrition, Corporate Communication ,Finance, Commercial Development teams)
  • Ensures that marketing decisions (communications, marketing investment, I&R, portfolio management, opportunity prioritization etc) are based in insights and data.
  • Recommends and executes the category research plan, working with the most effective internal and external partners to deliver the research plan.
  • Supports development of MBS (incl. category and cross-category insights), ICP and other long-term strategic projects as required across MENA.
  • Continuously enhances CIMI toolbox seeking inspiration from the Nestle Global network, and the wider research industry, to strive for continual improvement of the CIMI function.
  • Assess key supplier performances & drives continuous improvement, elevating work to drive greater commercial impact.
  • Building Winning Brands via Equity and Innovation expertise.
  • Manages brand health trackers and other brand equity studies. Is accountable for up to date and accurate understanding of the brand equity at all times.
  • Leads the consumer innovation agenda, ensuring white space growth opportunities are identified and innovation opportunities are validated against the most important stakeholder of all – their consumer.
  • Generates cross brand and category insights to drive transversal growth and supercharge existing insights.

Requirements for Role of Category Insights Manager

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • At least 7 + years experience in market research at Nestlé, agency, or other client side organization.
  • Experience and comfort with influencing senior stakeholders and challenging to champion the consumer.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • A good grasp of quantitative, qualitative and ad hoc research foundation and design.
  • Good understanding of Nielsen and Kantar World panel and its application to commercial decisions.
  • Confident communicator and storyteller, in both written and spoken formats.
  • Structural thinking, developed analytical skills, ability to work with large amounts of data, analyze relationships and connect dots across data sources.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and pro-active with identifying opportunities and research gaps that help to drive category growth.
