The Category Head for Mobiles at Ecity Electronics in Business center, 1st Floor, Office No, 109110 57th St, Garhoud, Dubai, UAE will be responsible for overseeing the entire mobile product portfolio at Ecity. This role involves strategic planning, negotiation & collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure a diverse, high-quality & competitive range of mobile products for their customers This role required a dynamic professional with a passion for electronics retail and a track record of success in category management mainly mobiles, the manager of this role can shape the future of mobile offerings at Ecity, by delivering excellence to their customers and driving the success of their business in the vibrant UAE market. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 20000-35000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Category Head

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for mobiles, aligning with overall business goals.
• 2. Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and agreements.
• Product Selection: Collaborate with the buying team to curate a diverse and attractive assortment of mobile products that cater to the preferences of their target customers.
• Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
• Financial Performance: Drive the financial success of the mobile category by setting and achieving sales and margin targets.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
• Key Performance Areas (KPAs): Category Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy for mobiles.
• Supplier Management: Build and manage relationships with key suppliers.

Requirements for Role of Category Head

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in retail buying, with a focus on mobiles.
• Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role within the retail electronics industry.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

In-depth understanding of the mobile and electronics market, including knowledge of current trends, customer preferences and competitive landscape.
