Job Description

As a CAT A Aircraft Technician, you are responsible to perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks as per operational requirements to timely identify and rectify defects and to ensure safety of flight operations

Accountabilities

  • Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued also general/technical information.
  • Ensure maximum attention is given to on time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand
  • Inform and consult with LAE as required to enable LAE to maintain a complete overview of Aircraft
  • Maintain a FOD free working area and clean up bay area before and after work
  • Develop oneself and increase Aircraft knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development
  • Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution
  • Proactively participate in all Health and Safety matters
  • Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the companies ethos
  • Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are return to stores with the correct label attach.
  • Ensure any tooling or equipment use is duly clean and return in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective.

Education & Experience

  • Valid aircraft maintenance license (ICAO B1 license acceptable for conversion as GCAA CAR-66. or Minimum Basic EASA66 B1 or GCAA CAT A).
  • Formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent and 5 years of experience in an Aircraft Maintenance environment.
