Responsibilities of Cashier
- Process customer transactions at the cash register
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments accurately
- Provide receipts and change to customers
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to transactions
- Ensure the accuracy of transaction amounts and inventory
- Collaborate with other staff to maintain a smooth checkout process
- Assist in counting and balancing cash drawers
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station
Requirements of Cashier
- Proven experience of 1-2 years as a Cashier or in a similar role
Skills and Knowledge desired
- Strong numerical and multitasking skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Knowledge of cash handling and POS systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions
- Ability to handle busy periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends
